A slice or two of my life. A little bit of ballroom or swing dancing, a helping of Eugene poltics, thoughts on how we got into this mess, and an occasional funny quote.
In case you haven’t met me, I’m Will Shaver. In my other life I write software. I live in Eugene, Oregon. You can contact me via will.shaver (my first and last name) at the ‘ol gmail.com.
And how “Old” is that gmail thing anyway….?
Hi, if you’re not Will Shaver who wrote this post about NHibernate (http://jira.nhibernate.org/browse/NH-1260) then you may ignore this message.
I’m developing an application which need to work with both current and historical data. I’ve been reading about temporal database (mostly a book call Develping Time-Oriented Database Applications in SQL).
I’ve found a post you made about using NHibernate’s EnableFilter method to use temporal database “transparently” by the application.
If that is really what you did can you explain how you did it and how well did it worked?
Thank you,
Ido.
